Douglas ‘13 Tet, 6”, Evr, M-Re, 29”, 20 buds, 3 way branching, frag (THELMA DOUGLAS X YANKEE PRINCESS) This is the frilliest ruffled flower we have ever seen, but it still opens beautifully every morning. Pale creamy yellow with a pink blush, a yellow throat and small green heart. Pale pink midribs on a recurved triangular form. Sometimes the petals pinch because of all the frills. Should be a hardy evergreen. From a flower I named for my mother and another named for my wife, thus THE LADIES OF MY LIFE. Fertile both ways. |
